[Cob] On Permit Approval

Thanks to everyone who wrote to congratulate me and most of all for the
supportive statements that mean so much to me.
It is wonderful to be able to not only break ground to build but to also
break ground in this pioneering effort we are all involved in.

I welcome anyone who would like to participate. I need to start marking
off the location as soon as the snow clears and I'm also interested in
that pulley system if in fact the house can be built on the terraced
area on the rocks. I may have to get approval to extend the distance to
the septic tank a few feet if the house is further than 10 feet away.

There is much planning and drawing to do, checking for underground
boulders in the foundation layout as well as the inner design of the walls.

It would be possible to also create the cistern, oven and greenhouse
while building the house. Maybe even a beehive or two with mini
fireplaces and built in day beds. Lots of room for creativity here.
There is plenty of straw.

I will put together the process I went through to get this far and also
what materials will be needed, in case I can purchase left over
materials from anyone.

I'll work on this during the weekend and post it by Sunday evening.

Thanks again for the support.

Janet
