Cob: RE: hanging stuff from cob walls.Patrick Newberry PNewberry at HFHI.orgWed Jan 22 07:37:31 CST 2003
Since I have wood beams on the ceiling, I have been haning stuff from them with wire (picture etc.) I've heard that you can drill a hole, place wooden dowl and nail into that. Been planning to try it but haven't yet. www.gypsyfarm.com [Patrick Newberry] -----Original Message----- From: Jill hotmail [mailto:writejill at hotmail.com] Sent: Friday, February 21, 2003 3:51 PM To: cob list Subject: Cob: Okay, I am still trying to figure this stuff out. The cob walls dry hard like rock, right? So how you do put up nails to hang stuff? Do you have to pre-plan and insert some wood? Thank you to the person from KY that gave input re: codes. We bought (sign papers as soon as they arrive) land in Hardin County. -jill -------------- next part -------------- <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1126" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#0000ff><FONT size=2><SPAN class=204273513-22012003>Since I have wood beams on the ceiling, I have been haning stuff from them with wire (picture</SPAN> <SPAN class=204273513-22012003>etc.)</SPAN></FONT></FONT></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#0000ff><FONT size=2><SPAN class=204273513-22012003></SPAN></FONT></FONT></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#0000ff><FONT size=2><SPAN class=204273513-22012003>I've heard that you can drill a hole, place wooden dowl and nail into that.
