<P>Cat here, Thanks Darel, do you know of any spec's out there, what size pipe, how deep a bed for the support and what depth the layers have to be?  I'm going to be sinking the whole thing deep enough to go below frost line, Yes???  My first attempt will be an animal shelter about 12'd  It is a shelter for cat's so I was planning stepped cob around the perimeter putting the heat into those sounds great!</P>
