Cob: cob, piseJill hotmail writejill at hotmail.comFri Jan 31 00:36:05 CST 2003
Let me see if I have this straight, Cob is using a straw-added earth mix with out forms. Buildings should be small, one story, and curves strengthen the structure. Pise is using no-straw-added earth, with forms, and a lot of tamping to pack the earth down (going 5 inches at a time) or using a machine to blow it. Buildings can be as tall as you want, and some are reinforced with rebar (spelling?). Is this right? -------------- next part -------------- <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1106" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Let me see if I have this straight, </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Cob is using a straw-added earth mix with out forms.
