Jill, How deep have you dug? Are there any road cuts nearby that might give some indication what the soil prophile is? Have you consulted you local county extension office to see the soil map for your area?.Luck,Pedro

    I am digging, and digging, all I get is sand! How can I mix dirt and clay if there is none!!! Should I keep digging down?
