To characterize this as "a clash of personalities" is to be totally
out of it.The simple fact is, nobody likes an ass and no one should
have to put up with it for any reason. Do you think the earth would stop
turning or that people would suddenly be unable to build a cob house if he
were to
be removed from the list? C'mon! You obviously haven't been the target of
any of his
inappropriate and UNPRODUCTIVE jabs. You also seem to think that as long as
they
AREN'T directed at you then it's O.K.. I haven't been a target either but I
feel
for the people who have been and I'm not so lame as to sit back and not say
anything
when I see it happen. You also must be one of those that feels the end
justifies
the means, as in - it's O.K. that he's such an asshole to people because,
well, his
last post helped me to get my clay to straw ratio just right. How pathetic.

I would just like to say that i feel the harsh criticism Daryl is receiving
is excessive and
uncalled for. I have been on the coblist for over a year now and Daryl is
one of the most frequent
and helpful members of the group. People should take the opportunity to
learn what they can from
knowledgeable people like him, even if you have to occasionally endure a
clash of personalities.
The aim of this list must surely be towards productivity and learning.

Matthew
