Seems like LIME PUTTY should be protected from freezing. But I can't
think of a link just this moment.
Yes Kim & Amanda, you can stack bales of other insulation around drums,
to prevent freezing, but plaster should be put on over 40 deg in any
case...
I herard from a lime expert that lime can freeze in the drum, but one it
thaws it is ok...lime putty cures by AIR carbonation, not water, so hope
this helps...
