[Cob] Finish on a cob couch

I've never used linseed oil before. Does it bleed onto, or stain, clothes or
pillows any at all after it's dried? I'm really wanting to achieve the white
look that is shown in some books and on some cob sites but have no idea what
exactly they did to get it.
