Amanda - your metal roof was $400, for a 500 sq ft area? Other than trusses, what else did you need to do? BTW the thatch people offer different thatches... some for garden gazebos, some for houses... But seems metal would be better, especially if I am to catch rain water.. but what goes underneath, insulation, ventilation space... How does it look on the inside, how did you finish it?? jill
