Link works. But it might well not work with webtv, even with the software.
.pdf files are frequently a pain for Windows users because they tend to clog
or freeze things up--better on Mac--but you do have to have the free!
software from Adobe.
I hate .pdf files. You can print out the whole thing, but if you can print
out, say, just the pages on siting a building on a steep hill, which are
applicable to many of us, I haven't figured it out.
By the way, Minke shows that round, or rounded, buildings are by their
nature more earthquake-proof than square, and that a long, narrow
(house-trailer) shape may be worse than that, depending on which way the
shock is coming.
I also put the link in because it might be useful to show a structural
engineer about strength--not just earthquake-proofness--of an earthen
building.
