[Cob] City Code Evasion Strategy Suggestions??

I wouldn't suggest evading code.

Have you spoken with any code officals concerning what you would like to do?

Get all your info together, to the point you feel you could answer any question they may ask, then go have a discussion with them. Even an off the grid home requires inspection in most areas and any size building you plan to occupy will certainly come under some scrutiny in the city limits.

Here in NC all dwellings must be a minimum 600 sq ft.

Don't count cob out for approval by the code officals, they may just need a little reassurance.
