[Cob] Septic permits and Building Codes

WA State code allows human manure composting toilets. At this time, only
those on the state approved list are automatically accepted. Those units are
expensive; yet, it is heartening that the technology has reached a state
level of acceptance. My next step will be to find a means to engineer, build
and monitor a system built here at the ranch for less than the pre-built
units, while meeting or beating their safety criteria.

Further, the county / state health solutions are sometimes failures. My
county of Grays Harbor had a love affair with mound systems for several
years until they began to fail, rather spectacularly.
