[Cob] Earthen floor with lime? Recipe?

Hiya all:

I am seeking information regarding earthen floors with a lime content. I'd
like to add some alkaline material to my floor to possibly help stave off
potential mold and mildew growth. The plan is to do an earthen/lime finish
floor, and then tile over it. The lime may be unnecessary, but for some ease
of mind it seems like a worthwhile experiment.

Have you ever added lime to an earthen floor mix? What kind of ratio did you
use?
