Cob double pane windows

I had an email conversation one or two years ago with someone who said
they had tried this, and had no moisture problems between the panes.
It seems to me that someone had also suggested putting pieces of chalk
between the panes at the bottom to absorb any excess moisture, though it
sounds like this isn't needed.
