Cob: Hi from someone new on list

Hi Cobbers:

I've been learning a lot perusing the coblist archives and listening in on the recent threads, and I hope to meet some of you at a workshop soon--if I can manage to get away from work.

I just bought 44 beautiful acres of woods, pasture, and tilled land from a farmer and to say the least I'm excited by the possibilities. It's located in NW Wisconsin. I've learned a great deal from and have enjoyed the photos on your websites, so I'd like to return the favor by sharing some pictures of the place with all you cobbers, strawbalers, and other interested parties. No buildings started yet, though--just the land, but that's where everyone has to start, right?

I looked at about a dozen parcels and they were all pretty marginal and unattractive, but then my luck really took a turn and I found this place just north of Connorsville, WI. You can see them on my web site at www.thebestisp.com/~wmlewis/
