I have just taken a ceramics class and tried to make one tile as a house logo
for my new studio ---- the teacher discussed the various problems, and
keeping them flat is the one ---- a recent Modern Masters (HGTV) show on a
tile maker also stressed the same, you must keep the bottoms flat and NEVER
pick them up without them on something totally flat (hard to do through
firings and glazing)--- my logo was only 6" wide, yet the edges did flex up,
even with careful handling --- so this makes the process very time intensive
thus expensive if someone knows someone who CAN make and enjoys making
tiles, (cost effectively) PLEASE let us know !!! Linda
