Cob: plywood revisited.........' I've got the retrofittin' blues

Hi Cob list:

We found the land we want, but it has this small cottage on it which is
stick built and does have plywood siding.  This structure legitimizes our
existence on this land, and makes it a lot easier for us to build another
cob structure without permits, etc.

How can I make this structure a more natural structure.   I have no
problem removing the siding and the moisture barrier down to the framing,
and then cobbing between the boards, if that is possible.  Does anyone
have any ideas on how I could make this structure into a more natural
one??

It seems that the plywood is a problem for many, many homes.  As someone
interested in natural building, I need to find ways to deal with existing
structures and there existing problems.  I could really use some ideas.
