[Cob] Foundation for inside walls?

Ed, Thanks for the info.  One of the reasons I like cob is the ability to make something other than thin straight boring walls.  I have been playing with some pretty outlandish looking floor plans and very little of the walls are straight and thin.  Even when they were, there has been some cobby feature like a bench or buttress/design element at some point.
I am definitely getting a much clearer understanding of the whole support system.
Amanda, my common sense thoughts will probably be way overkill before it is all finished.  I tend to be a little paranoid which kind of skews the common sense.
