--=======71CF319E======= Content-Type: text/plain; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-7D5054E3; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Hi Paul, >What I'd like to stress though, is the plastering >either way is not for amateurs. Can you substantiate this assertion? I am not a professional builder but I have done some plastering/rendering of adobe/cob walls. It's not difficult or even especially hard work. If you are talking about an industrially smooth finish then I can't do that but I'm happy with a slightly rustic look. I've visited lots of mud-brick houses and followed lists like this for years and I've never heard anyone suggest that plastering is too hard for anyone who can build a cob/adobe/mud-brick wall. You did a good job (as in 'clear thinking' class) analysing Barbara's post. Have you noticed that your statements are just as vulnerable to the same form of analysis? Lance --=======71CF319E=======--
