We are pleased to present two plastering workshops and a Slideshow  led by
Cedar Rose Guelberth, Co-author of The Natural Plaster Book! The setting is a
lovely wooded rural land at the Strawbale Studio, a uniquely sculptural thatched
roof building  ~ featured in The Beauty of Strawbale Homes by the Steens.

Cedar Rose, from Colorado has been in the field of healthy homes, natural
building/design and natural plastering for 25 years. She studied architecture in
Europe for 3 years with a focus on natural plasters, and is one of the most
experienced people in the field in the States.

Assisting will be Deanne Bednar, the illustrator of The Natural Plaster Book,
& The Hand-Sculpted House book, co-designer/builder of the Strawbale Studio
Project. She also has a background as an art &sustainability teacher.

These workshops will incorporate a wide range of information and experiences
with natural plasters and finishes, as well as a tour, and hands-on
activities, at the Strawbale Studio, a unique thatched-roof structure. These techniques
can be used on natural buildings and existing structures. You will also have
an opportunity to check out the extensive resource library, walk in the woods,
and spend time with some good people. Bring your curiosity and questions!
