[Cob] Linseed Oil + SalvagePack McKibben gakayaker at yahoo.comWed Apr 27 10:32:22 PDT 2005
I'm in the process of painting on layers of linseed oil on my earthen floor. I was planning on doing the 100% linseed oil, then 75/25 linseed/turpentine, 50/50 and lastly 25/75... Do I still need to do it this way? or should I just use 100% linseed oil for 4 to 6 costs? I think I've read on this list that using only 100% linseed oil is just as good as the linseed/turpentine mixes. ALSO, on the Salvage thread: I've had good luck at my local Habitat Store, Salvation Army thrift store, land fill, Lumber Yard cut-offs, garage sales, and I keep an AD running in the local "Penny Pincher" newspaper that asks for FREE building materials. I've gotten many windows, urbanite, sinks, granite, old sheds, etc. from this AD. pack web2.hartemc.net/~owlswamp __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
