[Cob] Cobbing in the Maritimes (from Coblist Digest V9, Issue 91)

Hello Jac,

How are you planning to insulate your house?  Some friends and I are making
plans for a cob house in central Ohio and I am concerned that it will be
impractical to heat.  (Our mean January temperature is apparently about 10
degrees F. warmer than yours).

I have argued that we should use "bale-cob" at least for the north wall of
the house, but so far I've been outvoted.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.
