Cob: plastic wrapped bales> was NO FOAM

Would anyone else consider using plastic wrapped
straw bales a risky thing to do?

no way!!!  bales are organic!!  you will end up with FOG ( funculating
organic goo)

plastic defeats the purpose of natural & breathable too.

I presume the bales were not really the load bearing foundation? but
only insulation? please tell me so?
