Well lets take a guess at where dirt poor people in mexico and guatemala get 
their hands on lead based paint, styrofaom, etc.  Could it be do to the 
influence and domincance of the "first" world.  I have never heard of 
traditional homes in either country using paint, styrofoam, it's only until 
the people have their land base stripped and used for capatilist ventures 
that they have to resort to surviving using the "machines" products, lets be 
real, rich ways of life using native substances is what most 3rd countries 
are known for.  LOOK to the source and you will find we live on the pig!
