Cob: fibrous concrete reinforcement

has some info about synthetic fibers added to concrete to reduce cracking.

I know it may be against the low-tech principles of this list, but maybe
this product has some use in a render??

Or maybe the fibers are too smooth and slippery for the render to grip?

Any thoughts?
