Cob: fibrous concrete reinforcement

Getting pounds of horse-hair (not mane or tail because it's too springy)
seems like a hassle. So if that's a good idea for a surface plaster/render,
as it seems to be, the nylon or polypro fibers might be a good idea.
Testing with a cheap nylon brush or polypro baling twine should give you the
answer. Hasn't Charmaine Taylor recommended a source of nylon fibers?

has some info about synthetic fibers added to concrete to reduce cracking.

Or maybe the fibers are too smooth and slippery for the render to grip?

Any thoughts?
