I've used some Kaolin clay and the local stuff I used was fine. It was bit chuncky and I had to soak it for a few days to break down the chuncks.

What was bad about it?

I haven't tried the fugitive dust but I am getting ready to try the AG mix in place of sand. The rock guys didn't know what fugitive dust was when I called. I'll just have to go and see what they have.
